 Materials

Your painting kit will be small and very portable

You will need to provide the following materials.

 A pack of permanent fine black markers including a sharpie fine point and a superfine marker 0.2 mm .

 Winsor and Newton ‘Cotman’ watercolours which come in their little plastic palette, small and portable.

A couple of watercolour brushes size 12 and size 6.

A container for your pencils and pens.

A collapsable water container.

Either a mechanical pencil about a 2B and a 4B or a regular graphite pencil and a sharpener with its own container for the shavings.

Erasers, a Cretacolor white eraser and a kneadable eraser. A stick eraser is great for adding texture

An A5 or A4 multimedia sketchbook for dry drawings in graphite and ink.

An Arches watercolour, 300 grams, rough surface watercolour paper. Approx. 19x26cms. A4 or A5

A small container for water, a cloth and some paper towels or micro fibre cloth.

A stub of a wax candle.

A small bag to carry your gear.
